LAX is the primary Airport for Los Angeles. It is Located on the coast with in close proximity of Santa Monica. The airport has eight terminals in total. It is one of the busiest airport in the world, most international airlines reside in the Tom Bradley International Terminal. Bus
Located in Downtown Los Angeles is the main bus terminal for the Greyhound. You can reach the city centre from here in about 10-minutes. You can also find buses which go directly to Hollywood and a few also pass through Pasadena and Long Beach . This is a great place to be if you want to explore further afield, to San Diego, Santa Barbara, or some distance away San Francisco. There are also frequent departures to Disneyland. Car
It is easy to rent a car in LAX as all the major international car-rental agencies have branches there. Courtesy phones are provided at the airport for those who have prebooked, use Shuttles buses usually take you to the car location. If you are on a budget Thrifty car dealers just outside the airport is great value for money and often have special offers out. If you are renting a car, getting a city map and familiarizing yourself with it first is advisable as the 4 lanes of traffic can be pretty daunting for any driver.
Public Transport
Los Angeles has the ninth busiest subway system in the United States. The rail system includes the Red and Purple subway lines, as well as the Gold, Blue, and Green light rail lines.
